Titus Boat Tours runs the boat to Praia da Fábrica, in Cacela Velha, and the Tavira Aqua Taxi. It also offers boat tours on the Ria Formosa with local skippers, since 2010.
About Titus Boat Tours
A tourism activity company based at the Fábrica pier, in Cacela Velha (Vila Real de Santo António), in the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It operates between Cacela Velha, Cabanas de Tavira, Tavira, Quatro Águas, Tavira Island, Terra Estreita and Santa Luzia.
The boat to Praia da Fábrica
Praia da Fábrica is on the island opposite Cacela Velha. You get there on a short boat ride from the Fábrica pier, from March to October, for €1.50 return, with a ticket on your phone (QR) or paid on board. On the lagoon side the water is calm; on the other side is the open sea.
For safety, we advise against crossing on foot: the tide rises quickly and there are strong currents in the lagoon.
